Hochland is the leader at the Russian cheese market, the company develops existing market segments and is aimed to come out to the new ones. The new brand platform developed in the European office branch has to fortify the emotional connection with the brand and to reflect family values. To be mentioned, Hochland
is the family company that has been producing cheese for more than 90 years.

We had a task of developing the communication strategy based on the new brand platform placing value on true relations between people. The problem was that often turning to tradition and family values makes brands living in the past and getting the image of conservative ones.

We looked at the family values from the different angle. Nowadays the world is changing every minute and even the closest people are growing apart, but family values are the pou sto for them. This insight allows the brand to get the real role in people’s lives but also to make the product a part of the story we’re telling.

The developed communication strategy allows working with the various segments of cheese market. Moreover, it is used not only to make the advertising but also to develop new products and their USP.
